ASUS introduced the ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro last month, powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Now the ROG Phone 6D has surfaced in China, RoHS Conformity Assessment Mark. According to leaker, Digital Chat Station, this will be the Dimensity version of the phone powered by the latest Dimensity 9000+ SoC.
If this is true, then this will be the first gaming phone to be powered by the flagship Dimensity 9000+ SoC, since most gaming phones are powered by Snapdragon SoCs.
Other than the SoC, this is said to retain other specifications as the Snapdragon version, including a 6.78-inch FHD+ 165Hz AMOLED screen, 50MP IMX766 sensor and a 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
The ROG Phone 6D could be cheaper than the Snapdragon version and launch in select markets starting from China in the coming weeks. We should know more details soon.
