At CES 2025, Acer unveiled the Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11, the company’s latest handheld gaming devices. These are slightly upgraded variants of the existing Nitro Blaze 7, featuring improvements in display size and resolution. The processor and other core specifications remain the same as those of the Nitro Blaze 7.
The Acer Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11 come with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 2TB SSD, AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor with Ryzen AI, clocking 39 total AI TOPS, and Radeon 780M graphics.
They feature up to 144 Hz WQXGA touch displays (8.8-inch or 10.95-inch) with 500 nits brightness, Radeon Super Resolution, and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology for rapid graphical upscaling.
To enhance the gaming experience, they support DTS:X Ultra Audio, feature Hall Effect trigger and sticks, and include a complimentary 3-month PC Game Pass for access to premium games. Unlike the Nitro Blaze 8, the Nitro Blaze 11 includes detachable controllers and a front camera for video calls and streaming.

Acer Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller
The company also unveiled the Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller. It supports both Android and iOS devices and accommodates screens up to 8.3 inches and has a portable and foldable design. It can connect to mobile devices through a USB Type-C port that supports pass-through 18W fast charging.

The Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11 will be available in North America and EMEA in Q2, 2025, with pricing as follows:
