Samsung teased the Galaxy S25 Edge at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event today where it announced the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. The S25 Edge was rumoured as the Galaxy S25 Slim and Samsung decided to drop the surprise today. Here are some photos of the Galaxy S25 Edge exclusively from Galaxy Unpacked 2025 in San Jose, California USA.
The S25 Edge seemed to get a lot of interest at the event and the display area was constantly mobbed and security weren’t allowing anyone to get close to the device.
I could only see the device being suspended in thin air to demonstrate how thin and light it is along with 2 blocks of metal.
It is expected to be only 6.4mm thick and feature only two rear cameras compared to the three cameras on the other S25 devices.. The last time Samsung used the Edge suffix in a model was back in 2016 with the Galaxy S7 Edge.
There are no details about the full specifications and launch date but it is surely coming later this year in May to take on the upcoming rumoured iPhone 17 Air.
It is expected to be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy like the rest of the S25 series with 12GB of RAM.
Mobile World Congress takes place in March 2025 in Barcelona and hopefully we get to hear more details about the S25 Edge.
