At the Google I/O back in May, Google teased the Pixel tablet and also confirmed that it is coming in 2023. Today, at the Pixel 7 launch, the company confirmed that the Pixel Tablet will come with a new Charging Speaker Dock, as rumoured earlier.

The speaker in the dock promises enhanced audio. When the Pixel Tablet is docked, it acts as a hands-free Assistant or a photo frame. It can also control all your smart home devices. The dock has magnets, so it is easy to dock and undock the Pixel tablet, said Google.
The Pixel Tablet will use the same Tensor G2 chip as the Pixel 7 series, offering advanced image processing and machine learning, and Pixel phone features, like video calling, photo editing, and hands-free help with Google Assistant.
The tablet has a premium nanoceramic finish, and the image shows a large screen, but the company did not reveal the screen size or the resolution yet.
Regarding the Pixel tablet, Google said:
The Pixel Tablet is designed to seamlessly transition from a delightful part of your home to an entertainment device you can take anywhere – making it one of the most versatile and adaptable tablets ever.
Combine these features with the dock’s beautiful design, and you’ll want to have the Pixel Tablet in the heart of your home. It transforms your tablet from something that sits in your drawer to an integral part of your life.
