Apple is set to launch a new iPhone SE, which could feature Dynamic Island, a design element seen on the iPhone 14 Pro models. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to bring significant design changes, including the removal of the home button, an edge-to-edge display, and Face ID, with Dynamic Island possibly replacing the traditional notch, similar to newer iPhone models like the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16.
Leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared code references for several upcoming Apple devices, including the iPhone SE 4, confirming its development. In a follow-up post, Blass shared an image showing the iPhone with Dynamic Island, suggesting it may replace the notch.
Although the device was previously rumored to be named “iPhone 16E,” Blass’ leak shows “iPhone SE 4” in the source code, though this could be a placeholder. Apple may finalize the name closer to the release.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2025, likely around March or April, in line with the typical launch window for the SE lineup. Pricing is anticipated to be slightly higher than the current model, which starts at $429.
This leak supports earlier claims from leaker Majin Bu, who suggested the iPhone SE 4 could feature Dynamic Island and a design similar to the iPhone 14. But also speculated that the device might be named “iPhone 16E” and come in white and black colors.
Upcoming iPad models
Additionally, Blass revealed upcoming iPad models, including a new iPad Air and an 11th-generation iPad, which are expected to have no major design changes. These devices are likely to be unveiled alongside the iPhone SE 4.
With rumors still circulating, it remains unclear whether the iPhone SE 4 will feature Dynamic Island or retain the notch. More details are expected to emerge as the official announcement approaches in the coming months.
