itel India is all set to refresh its entry-level A series of smartphones with the launch of the itel Awesome A80. The company has started teasing the smartphone on its official site, revealing the back design of the device.
Further, the teaser poster says “smoothest,” citing the addition of a high-refresh-rate display. The itel A80 has already launched in global markets. It features a 120Hz refresh rate screen along with a punch-hole selfie camera at the center. Considering the entry-level segment, the use of a high-refresh-rate panel would become an attractive selling point.
Further, it features a large 6.7-inch display with up to 500 nits of peak brightness. Since it has a punch-hole selfie camera, we can expect a dynamic bar feature, as seen on other Itel smartphones, that effectively shows live alerts.
It boats a 50MP HDR camera at the back and an 8MP selfie shooter at the front. It has 128GB of large storage, a 5000mAh battery, an IP54 rating, and a type-C charging port. Further, the company also promises a smooth user experience for over 36 months.
