The 14-bit VA QLED display has a matte surface, HDR10+, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, a 165Hz refresh rate, a 1ms grey-to-gray response time, and 4K resolution. It can be as bright as 600 nits on average and 2,000 nits at its brightest in HDR.
The Game Bar lets you alter display settings rapidly. The company has also activated the Odyssey Ark to broadcast four video inputs concurrently. Samsung Gaming Hub lets you access Amazon Luna, Microsoft Xbox Cloud, and Nvidia GeForce Now. Samsung Odyssey Ark includes Dolby Atmos and 60W, 2.2.2-channel speakers. The monitor’s stand pivots to accommodate portrait orientation, which Samsung calls “Cockpit Mode.”
On the other hand, the monitor runs on the Tizen OS, which lets you use Apple TV+, Disney+, Netflix, and Prime Video. Alexa is included. It has Samsung Health, SmartThings, Wi-Fi 5, Miracast, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Tap View, a USB Type-C connector, an Ethernet port, and four HDMI 2.1 connections (with Auto Source Switch+ and HDMI CEC).
