Samsung recently unveiled a series of live hologram projections across the London cityscape, offering a glimpse into the company’s vision for the future of mobile technology. The activation, designed to build anticipation for the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, transformed sections of the city into dynamic displays, hinting at advancements in mobile AI.
The holographic showcase, which debuted on January 15, featured a range of imagery, including marine life, botanical elements, sports highlights, and a lantern-lit sky.
According to Samsung, these visuals represent common experiences captured and shared through mobile devices. The company suggests that the projections point towards a more intuitive mobile experience powered by Galaxy AI, with new features expected to be announced as part of the next Galaxy S series lineup.
The installations, described as large-format and scalable, measured 65 feet by 50 feet and were positioned 100 feet above ground. In addition to the physical displays, Samsung leveraged social media to further amplify the campaign and generate global awareness.
The holographic activation serves as a prelude to the Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for January 22nd. Samsung has issued an invitation, featuring both visual and voice elements, encouraging global audiences to tune in to the event, where they are expected to fully reveal the next generation of Galaxy devices and associated AI capabilities.
